Had an awesome opportunity last Thursday. I was invited by Heather Skipworth to speak at the Beyond Me Inspiration Conference. It was a huge honour to be able to speak along side the likes of Dr Lance O Sullivan, Vienna and Taaniko Nordstrome of Soliders Rd, and Heather of Ironmaori. I delivered a speech that I had written on 'Equity in Education', an area that I'm passionate about.I also made some new connections and met a lot of inspirational people, all of whom are forging the way forward for Maori. I was also blown away by the amount of people that offered to help and support me achieve my goals. It was a great day.
